Story
The data says there are approximately 750 slums in New Delhi, and the number of slums is rising. In these slums, there are thousands of children, that are far from receiving a basic education, proper hygiene, and basic nutrients for their mental and physical growth. These children are highly undernourished, and the impact can be seen in their physical growth. Children who often grow up in poverty are exposed to some of the lowest aspects of life. We aim to protect them and help them break this vicious cycle of being born in poverty and survive. Because when children are born in poverty, their only aim is their basic survival even before thinking about education. Therefore, the main goal of the project is to abate poverty and human trafficking, and this could be done only by helping them get basic education and a decent living. National NGO is committed to rescuing these children from this unfortunate situation that they were born into. We are doing so by providing them free education, and nutritious mid-day meal. We want these children to get the best, and not be deprived of their basic needs. We grant them free stationaries and essential study materials
as a part of Project Sashakt.
